PsycTech, LLC is a privately held, minority owned company dedicated to the development of state of the art, web-based applications and services to help people improve their lives.
Since 2001, PsycTech, LLC has been the world leader in developing and making available interactive, self-help programs for behavioral disorders. Through these programs, PsycTech, LLC has changed the lives of thousands of people in over 40 countries around the world.
“Our goal is to bring effective behavioral self-help programs into the homes of people who otherwise would not have access to treatment. Therapy can be expensive, and sometimes people live in areas where they do not have access to professionals with expertise in treating their particular behavior. ABOUT THE TEAM
Dr. Douglas Woods
Dr. Woods has authored or co-authored over 200 papers or chapters, and authored or co-authored a number of books on Tic Disorders, trichotillomania, and other repetitive behavior problems, including the original CBIT therapist manual. He is a faculty member of the Tourette Association of America’s Behavioral Therapy Institute (BTI).
Dr. Woods is a current member and former co-chair of the Tourette Association of America’s Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Woods has received research funding from the NIH and Tourette Association of America’s grant programs.
He is currently on the faculty in the Department of Psychology at the University of Utah where he teaches and conducts research on understanding and treating Tourette syndrome, tic disorders, and related neurodevelopment disorders.
Dr. Michael Himle
Dr. Michael Himle has authored multiple research publications and book chapters on these topics and regularly conducts professional trainings for the national Tourette Syndrome Association. He is a faculty member of the Tourette Association of America’s Behavioral Therapy Institute (BTI).
Dr. Himle has received funding from the Tourette Syndrome Association as well as the National Institutes of Health to support his work in these areas.
He is currently the co-director of the University of Utah Tourette Syndrome Center of Excellence.
